Tomorrow I turn 30. That’s the biggest number since 21 and one that causes meltdowns and reflection on one’s life. I really haven’t been freaking out because I know a lot of people in their 30’s that aren’t TOO shitty. It actually seems like a pretty interesting decade to live through.

I did a lot of fun things in my 20’s, traveled to a lot of cool places, and accomplished a good amount of stuff, but I feel like I didn’t do enough. I could have worked harder to achieve the things I wanted to achieve and I’ve been lapped numerous times by some of my contemporaries. I guess I can see that as motivation. Life is short and I’m starting to realize I’m going through it pretty fast.

When I was a kid I always imagined I’d be retired by 30, which is completely laughable at this point. I have a lot to be thankful for (is this a Thankgsiving post?). I just had the most beautiful wedding, Madison is a dog not a hog, and I just moved into my dream apartment. Things are good but I’m making moves to make them better. Hopefully I’ll have some interesting news and stuff to show in the new year.
